Black Vinyl Coated (VC) Chicken Wire
This black vinyl coated (VC) hexagonal poultry netting fence, also known as chicken wire, will last a long time. 1" mesh, 20 gauge core wire, galvanized before weaving (GBW) hex netting fence is dipped in a tough, flexible, thick coating of black PVC. The resulting vinyl coated hexagonal chicken netting fence has an approximate 18 gauge overall finished thickness and is very corrosion resistant. Inhibitors in the vinyl protect it from UV degradation. The thick coating is tightly bonded to the wire and extremely resistant to cracking, chipping and weathering. Black color makes the mesh blend in with the landscape. This long-lasting mesh works well in a variety of applications around the home or farm, including bird pens and garden fence. All rolls are 50', 100' or 150' feet long.

Deer Control Fence - Black Vinyl Coated 1" hex mesh
This strong, long-lasting mesh works well as a deer barrier fence. When deer encounter a black fence, they know there is a barrier but cannot see it distinctly. When deer cannot clearly see the top of a fence to judge the distance, they are much less likely to jump. Extra tall 90" height eliminates piecing together narrower rolls. The 90" dimension is nominal. Due to the tension and heat of the coating process, actual height may be between 88" and 90". The inherent resiliency of this mesh allows the fence to give upon impact. Rolls are 100 feet long.

17 gauge - 1-1/2" mesh
Also known as Apron Fence, this 17 gauge GBW hexagonal netting mesh is much heavier than 20 gauge and will last longer. Rolls are available in 60" and 72" widths. It is made with an apron - a line wire runs the length of the roll 12" up from the bottom edge. The 12" portion can be bent along this line wire creating an apron that lies on top of the ground. The apron eliminates the need to trench the wire. It lays on top of the ground and acts as a barrier to prevent animals from digging under the fence. The fence can also be used without the apron feature. It is particularly useful in fencing beagle training pens and game bird pens.

Chicken Wire - Galvanized After Weave (GAW)
Also known as chicken wire, this galvanized after weaving (GAW) hexagonal poultry netting fence will last for years.
23 gauge 1/2" hex mesh is a light weight small mesh ideal for bird cages for canaries and similar birds. It is also used in furniture projects
18 gauge wire is twice the weight and thickness of standard 20 gauge hex netting.
16 gauge 1" mesh is the extra heavy netting used in building Paddle Tennis courts. It also is an excellent conductor to be used on the ceilings of bumper car rides.
After being woven into 1/2" or 1" mesh chicken wire netting, the fence is run through a bath of molten zinc. This double galvanizing thoroughly seals the wire against rust and corrosion, especially in the twisted areas which tend to hold moisture. GAW hex netting fence will long outlast conventional galvanized before weaving hexagonal chicken wire, reducing the frequency, inconvenience and high cost of replacement. It will withstand more abuse. Ideal for gardens, game bird pens - any application requiring a long lasting, strong, predator resistant fence.

Galvanized Chicken Wire
Galvanized steel chicken wire is an hexagonal mesh for use in many applications including chicken runs / poultry fencing. It is also known as rabbit fencing and hexagonal wire netting. Chicken wire / chicken wire fence is manufactured from steel and is hot-dipped galvanized to protect against corrosion (Zinc coated). Boddingtons range of chicken wire / galvanized steel wire netting is available in roll heights from 600mm up to 1.8mtrs and roll lengths from 5m up to 50m. Chicken wire is available in 13mm, 25mm and 50mm (1/2", 1" & 2") mesh hole sizes.
